Over the years, many people develop different collections of things that are of interest to them. It might be stamps or coins, or in my case, a collection of match books and shot glasses.
I have to admit that my most recent interest is collectible knives and swords. There are so many different types and styles available to fulfill any collection.

One of the popular areas of blade collecting involves weapons from the Civil War. There were many different weapons that came from that time period, and the Confederate sword was one of them.

The Germans developed many different types of weapons over the years. They include special knives, daggers, and swords.
Some of their production was for tactical and battlefield purposes and some of it was used as a decoration to supplement their full uniforms for special occasions. Especially when there was some type of formal affair, one of the German weapons they would include was an stunning, decorated sword.

The Ninja had a variety of weapons at their disposal. They can include everything from throwing knives and stars, to nun chucks and to a full three blade sword sets.
Because the Ninja had so many weapons that were made famous through history and the movies, it is not surprising that they have become collectors items. It is not difficult to become interested in wanting to collect some of these ninja weapons for sale.

Many different types of weapons were created and developed by the Japanese. One of the more recognized weapons was the samurai swords.
The ancient Japanese samurai swords usually came in three different sizes, to be used in the appropriate situation. They were the Katana, the Wakizashi, and the Tanto, with the lengths from longer to shorter.

The Japanese developed many different styles and types of weapons. One type of sword that was developed was one called a Naginata type weapon.
Soldiers on horseback at one time preferred the weapon that had a long pole with a sharp sword at the end of it. The Naginata weapon was also known as “the woman’s spear” and was used very successfully in the 1199’s.
Samurai Swords Are One Of The Best
Samurai swords are one of the most popular among sword collectors. Sometimes you can find a Samurai set of three different sized swords, displayed on a rack that holds all three of them.
One nice set to look at is the Samurai Swords of the Immortals which has stainless steel blades of 29”, 20” and 15” blades. It is no surprise that Samurai swords of all kinds are of primary interest to the sword collector.
