During our war with Germany, the Nazi’s produced, displayed, and used a variety of different weapons. One such weapon was used by the German paratroopers.

The Nazi paratroopers knife was a type of folding knife that was about 6 to 8 inches long and sometimes had emblems or engraving on the blade or handle. They proved to be a very formidable tool and weapon.

A Nazi Paratroopers knife would usually be about 6” closed, and around 8” when opened. They were sometimes all stainless steel and would even contain engravings on the blade and the handle.

German Officers were known to be a disciplined and well trained military force to deal with. They usually did not come into direct contact with the enemy in battle, but they usually were prepared.

One of the German weapons that many of them carried was a dagger. Some of them were so nice, one may wonder if it was more for show that it was for personal protection. They also make for a nice collectors item.

One style was the LL80 Gravity style of knife and another was the folding version of the German paratroopers knife. Either of these knives can be formidable and dangerous weapons.
